Shopper Profile
Synonymous with fashion and loft living, SoHo’s cast-iron facades are a backdrop to a world of luxury retail. A magnet for fashion-forward crowds, its streets brim with high-end boutiques, chic cafes, and art galleries. Rents here are among the city’s premium, and while there’s a legacy of local ownership, many spaces are now under the helm of institutional landlords.

Our location in Soho was one of our first locations and highly profitable. Although rents are high, the revenue offsets those higher costs not to mention the awareness and traffic it drives for the brand.

Rents are pretty high here, but there seems to be a higher concentration of landlords willing to do creative deals here (12 month “popup” term at a premium rent, then ability to extend into longer term deal at a market rent). Buildouts are a pain, so try to find a place that’s move in ready or it may end up being too expensive / time consuming with Landmarks and ADA challenges.

One of the few places the rents are justified. Pick a side street for a steep dropoff in rent, but not as quite a dropoff in foot traffic.
